Texas State Technical College Waco is approved for all chapters of Veterans Educational Benefits. The application & certification for these benefits can be obtained through TSTC's Certification Officer in the Admissions & Records Office.

When the Certification Officer receives an application, the original is mailed to the Veterans Administration, and a copy remains with the Certification Officer. A special Veteran's school file is then established for the student. It usually takes two months for the VA to process your paperwork, and you are not paid until you have been in school a month.

The Certification Officer's duty is to certify students for benefits after all paperwork is complete, and to report drops, withdrawals, and progress to the VA.
