Salaries & Advancement:

Graduates of the Combination Welding program can look forward to exceptional career opportunities Figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicate Median hourly earnings of welders, cutters, solderers and brazers were $14.02 in 2002. The middle 50 percent earned between $11.41 and $17.34. BLS information also projects outstanding job prospects for skilled welders and welding technicians, based on employers' reports of shortages in qualified applicants.

With experience, graduates can advance to positions as supervisors, inspectors, instructors and small business owners, with virtually unlimited earning potential.
